Jobsite Internet & WiFi Done Right
Los Angeles Temporary Power deploys jobsite internet for construction sites that can't wait for a fiber installation. We use bonded 5G/LTE routers with multi-carrier failover, ruggedized outdoor mesh WiFi, and a managed network we monitor remotely. Your trailers, cameras, gate intercoms, and crew tablets stay online.
How We Work
One project manager runs your job from the first phone call through removal. Here’s the flow:
1. Site survey
We walk the site (or review your plans) to spec where the router goes, where the mesh APs go, and whether you need point-to-point links to a trailer that’s far from the gate.
2. Design and provision
We pick the right combination of carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile), order SIMs and equipment, and pre-configure the network so it’s plug-and-play on day one.
3. Deploy and monitor
Our crew mounts the router and APs, terminates the connections, runs a speed test, and ties the network into our 24/7 monitoring. We see faults before you do.
When You Need Jobsite Internet & WiFi
You need jobsite internet when:
- The site has no fiber drop — raw lots in canyons, industrial zones, or new subdivisions where running fiber would take months.
- You’re using site cameras or access control — IP cameras, smart locks, and access logs all need static IPs and reliable uplink.
- The trailer team works in plans and BIM — large file downloads, video calls with the architect, real-time markup tools.
- Crew needs WiFi outside the trailer — tablets at the slab, walkie-talkie apps in the rebar, foreman emails from the lift.
- You’ve outgrown a single carrier hotspot — one carrier throttles after 50GB. We bond two or three carriers so you never hit a cap.
- Off-hours security matters — cameras and motion sensors run on cellular failover so a power blip doesn’t blind the site.

What Affects the Cost of Jobsite Internet & WiFi
Jobsite internet pricing is a flat monthly fee covering equipment, SIMs, and our monitoring. It depends on:
- How many carriers are bonded. One carrier is cheapest; bonding two or three keeps you online when one network has issues.
- Mesh AP count. A single AP covers a trailer; a multi-AP mesh covers a full city block worth of construction site.
- Bandwidth and data cap. Standard plans cover normal site use. High-bandwidth plans for sites running constant video feeds cost more.
- Static IPs and security features. Cameras, access control, and VPN endpoints need static IPs and managed firewall rules.
- Rental vs. project ownership. Long projects can purchase the hardware and lower the monthly rate.
- Contract length. Month-to-month is most flexible. 6+ month commitments get a discount.
Bottom line: a flat monthly fee, no surprise overages, equipment installed and supported by us.
Frequently Asked Questions
How fast can you get internet on my LA jobsite?
Most installs are scheduled within a week. If you need same-week, we can usually accommodate by overnighting SIMs and pre-config.
What if there's no fiber anywhere near the site?
Most LA jobsites we cover have no fiber. We bond 5G and LTE across two or three carriers — usually that gives you 50–500 Mbps without any wired connection.
Can the network handle security cameras and gate access?
Yes. We provision static IPs for cameras and access control devices, segment the network so guest WiFi doesn’t bog down operations, and monitor uptime 24/7.
Will the gear survive a construction site?
The equipment we deploy is industrial-rated — outdoor enclosures, surge protection, weatherproof APs. We size cabling and mounting for the actual site conditions.
What does jobsite internet cost?
It depends on bonded-carrier count, mesh AP coverage, and contract length. We quote a flat monthly fee after a quick site survey or plan review.
