Frequently Asked Questions

Everything we get asked across temp power, generators, and jobsite internet — grouped by service so you can jump to what you need.

Temporary Power Poles

How long does it take to get a temporary power pole installed in Los Angeles?

Typical timeline is 2–3 weeks from the day you call. That covers the permit, the LADWP or SCE service request, the install, and the inspection. Rush jobs are possible — call and ask.

Do you handle the LADWP or SCE paperwork?

Yes. We submit the service request, coordinate the meter spot, and push the utility for the release. You get one point of contact for the whole process.

What amperage do I need — 100A, 200A, or 400A?

Most single-family remodels run on 100A. Multifamily and small commercial usually need 200A. Tower cranes, batch plants, and large MEP loads call for 400A. We will spec it on the call.

Are your poles UL-listed and code-compliant?

Yes — every pedestal we set is UL-listed and built to the current CEC and LADBS amendments. GFCI receptacles, weatherproof while-in-use covers, proper bonding and grounding, the works.

What does a temporary power pole cost?

It depends on amperage, distance from the utility drop, permit type, and how fast you need it. We give every job a flat price after a short site walk — no hidden fees, removal included.

Temporary Generators

How fast can you deliver a generator in Los Angeles?

Most LA County deliveries are next-day. Same-day delivery is possible for emergencies if a unit is available — call and we’ll check the yard.

What sizes do you stock?

We carry diesel and natural-gas units from 25kW to 500kW. Common rentals: 25kW for small sites, 100kW for mid-sized projects, 250–500kW for large multifamily or commercial.

Are your generators Tier 4 Final certified?

Yes. Every unit in our fleet meets EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards — required for most LA County and public-works projects.

Do you deliver fuel?

Yes. Fuel delivery is included on a scheduled basis. We monitor fuel level remotely on most units and dispatch before you run dry.

How loud are the units on a residential site?

Our standard units are sound-attenuated to ~65–70 dB at 23 feet. We also offer super-quiet units for sensitive areas (around 55 dB).

Jobsite Internet & WiFi

How fast can you get internet on my LA jobsite?

Most installs are scheduled within a week. If you need same-week, we can usually accommodate by overnighting SIMs and pre-config.

What if there's no fiber anywhere near the site?

Most LA jobsites we cover have no fiber. We bond 5G and LTE across two or three carriers — usually that gives you 50–500 Mbps without any wired connection.

Can the network handle security cameras and gate access?

Yes. We provision static IPs for cameras and access control devices, segment the network so guest WiFi doesn’t bog down operations, and monitor uptime 24/7.

Will the gear survive a construction site?

The equipment we deploy is industrial-rated — outdoor enclosures, surge protection, weatherproof APs. We size cabling and mounting for the actual site conditions.

What does jobsite internet cost?

It depends on bonded-carrier count, mesh AP coverage, and contract length. We quote a flat monthly fee after a quick site survey or plan review.
