How We Work
One project manager runs your job from the first phone call through removal. Here is the flow:
1. Load and layout check
We work out the real heat load from the space, the occupancy, the equipment in it and the glazing, then confirm where the unit sits, how the hot air leaves, and whether the available circuit can carry it. That conversation takes ten minutes and prevents most problems.
2. Delivery and setup
Units are delivered, placed, ducted and started by our crew. Window kits, ceiling plenum kits and flexible duct are part of the rental rather than an upsell, and we confirm the space is actually holding temperature before we leave.
3. Service through the rental
Filters get changed, condensate handling gets checked, and if a unit fails we replace it rather than repair it on site. Emergency swaps are available around the clock on critical spaces like server rooms.
Cooling and Heating Equipment We Rent

Single-hose and dual-hose portable air conditioners on casters, running on standard 115V or 208V circuits. These are the workhorses for job trailers, server rooms, small offices and single conference rooms. They roll through a standard doorway and vent through a window or a ceiling tile.
Commercial units, 5 to 25 tons
Larger portable and trailer-mounted air conditioning for warehouses, tents, production spaces and full-floor coverage during a building system outage. These need three-phase power and ducted supply and return, which we design and install as part of the rental.
Temporary heating
Electric and indirect-fired portable heaters for winter work, curing slabs, drying out a building after rain, and keeping paint and drywall crews in their temperature window. Indirect-fired units keep combustion products outside the occupied space.
Emergency and standby cooling
When cooling failure means real loss, whether that is a data room, a lab, a cold store or a medical facility, we stage equipment ahead of a planned shutdown or dispatch on an emergency call. Pairing a unit with a rental generator keeps it running through a power outage too.
Ducting, power and controls
The unit is only part of the job. Flexible duct, window and plenum kits, condensate pumps, distribution and the correct circuit all have to be right. We supply and install the whole package so you are not sourcing a duct kit on a Friday afternoon.
What Affects the Cost of Portable AC Rental
Cooling rents daily, weekly or monthly. What sets the rate:
- Unit capacity. A one-ton spot cooler for a trailer and a twenty-five-ton trailer-mounted unit for a warehouse are separated by an order of magnitude, so sizing correctly is the biggest single factor in what you pay.
- How long you need it. Emergency daily rentals cost the most per day. Weekly is better, monthly is much better, and a planned seasonal rental should always be quoted monthly.
- How the heat gets out. A window kit is quick. Ducting through a ceiling plenum, across a roof or into a shaft takes labor and materials, and that is quoted with the unit.
- Power requirements. Standard 115V units plug in anywhere. Larger equipment needs 208V or three-phase, and if the circuit is not there we can install it or feed it from a generator.
- How fast you need it. Scheduled deliveries are the standard rate. Same-day emergency response, especially outside business hours, carries a premium.
- Seasonal demand. During a genuine Los Angeles heat wave, availability across the whole city tightens. Booking ahead of a known shutdown protects both the rate and the unit.

Is it worth renting a portable AC unit?
When the need is temporary, yes. Renting means the right capacity for this specific problem, delivery and setup by someone who does it daily, service for the whole term, and nothing to store afterwards. Buying a consumer unit for a commercial-sized problem usually ends with an underpowered box in a corner and a room that is still hot.
What size portable AC do I need?
A rough starting point is one ton per 400 square feet, but that only holds for an ordinary room. Server equipment, western sun, high ceilings, a crowd of people or an uninsulated tent can double the requirement. Give us the dimensions and what is in the space and we will size it properly the first time.
How much does portable AC rental cost?

Where does the hot air go?
Out of the space, which is the part people miss. Every portable air conditioner produces hot exhaust that has to be discharged through a window kit, a ceiling plenum or a duct run to outside. Exhausting into the same room does nothing. We plan the discharge path as part of the setup.

How fast can you deliver in an emergency?
